The Public Works Department dedicates its efforts to providing safe, quality-based, cost-efficient services to citizen, business, and industry within the City of York.
The Department also provides support services and maintenance to all City owned facilities and properties.
The work Public Works employees do on a daily basis is vital to a well functioning City. The employees take great pride in a job well-done. Without their service our citizens would not have quality roads, water, waste management, or parks.
