The City Treasurer acts as the chief financial official of the city. The person in the office develops the budget with the Mayor and City Council and tracks the city finances for the administration and the City Council and other duties as prescribed by State Law and City Ordinance.
At the end of September (the City's fiscal year), the Treasurer of the City of York publishes the City Financial Statement & Independent Auditor's Report. This comprehensive report provides an overview of the City's financial activities for the previous year. The Financial Records link provides access to these documents over the years.
