The York Ballpark Complex opened in March of 2017.  The York Ballpark Complex is the newest place for everyone to “play ball.” This state-of-the-art baseball/softball complex has two championship fields and six standard fields. Seven of the eight fields are multi-purpose fields, meaning both baseball and softball can be played. The eighth field meets regulation dimensions and has a grass infield for baseball.

The Ballpark Complex is the home of York High School softball, York College softball, York College baseball (fall season), Knights baseball, Fusion softball, Optimist baseball, and T-ball; a total of 37 local teams. Along with the local baseball/softball programs, the Ballpark Complex hosts weekend tournaments from April-October. Last year, it hosted 13 tournaments, with 17 already scheduled for the 2019 season. It is estimated that 1,693 games were played in 2018, and 54,176 people walked through the gates of the Ballpark Complex!

The Ballpark Complex also includes a controlled entry with ticket booth, playground, and four batting cages. There are two multi-use facility with concession stand, restrooms, press box, and an umpire lounge. The Ballpark Complex is a state attraction and an asset to the community of York!

 No pets are allowed in the York Ballpark Complex. If you have a service pet or emotional care pet you must provide the appropriate documentation to the admission staff, and your pet must have the proper identification showing (vest, tags, etc).

The York Ballpark Complex now offers 13 over night camper/RV spots available for York Ballpark Complex participants only.  Spots must be reserved by the Thursday prior to the weekend tournament.  

  This is a trial run, no fees, no water or electrical hook ups. 

York Ballpark Complex RV Rules 

  • RVs must be registered with the Parks and Recreation department prior to Thursday at 5pm.  Registrations must be taken online at and reservation must include name, phone number, RV license plate number and vehicle associated with RV license plate number.  A confirmation certificate with designated RV parking location will be emailed and needs to be placed visible in the window.
  • RV spots do not have hook-ups.  Campers are responsible for own water and electrical hookups as well as any type of seating.  There are no picnic tables or benches in the RV area. Sewage dumpsites can be found at Recharge Lake Recreation Center.
  • Campers must stay in the parking area, no trespassing into the Complex after hours.  The Complex has cameras and motion sensor lights and will be patrolled by City police.
  • Once complex has closed for the night, there will be no restrooms available.
  • Don’t leave your outside lights on all-night long, be respectful to your neighbor campers.
  • You are responsible for picking up your own area – trash receptacles will be on site.
  • Pets are not allowed inside the complex fence, if pets are joining in the RV area, pick up after them and they must be on a leash.
  • Respect quiet hours of 11pm-5am
  • No open fires
  • As in all City of York parks the use of alcohol, drugs or firearms is prohibited.
